There you go se nombró la canción con la que saltó a la fama, a principios de los 2000, la cantante, compositora, bailarina, acróbata y actriz Pink, inscrita en Pensilvania, Estados Unidos, el 8 de septiembre de 1979, como Alecia Beth Moore. Tal vez porque su padre le tocaba la guitarra y le cantaba canciones desde que era pequeña, Pink siempre aspiró a ser una estrella de rock. Y eso empezó a hacerse realidad con su primer álbum, Cant take me home, al que pertenece There you go. A este le siguió Missundaztood, donde comenzó a incursionar en el pop rock y que reunió éxitos internacionales al estilo de Get the party started, Dont let me get me, Just like a pill y Family portrait. Con Try this (2003) vendió tres millones de copias y ganó un Grammy por Mejor Interpretación Vocal Rock Femenina con el sencillo Trouble.
Con excelente acogida llegaron más tarde otros fonogramas al estilo de Im not dead, Funhouse, Greatest hits... So far!!! y The truth about love, el cual se ubicó en el primer lugar de la Billboard, gracias a una canción como Just give me a reason (Solo dame una razón), que ahora les presentamos; tercer sencillo de dicho fonograma donde el cantante Nate Ruess, líder de la banda Fun, colabora con Pink. Este disco vendió por el mundo cerca de dos millones de copias, sobre todo en Europa, Japón y Australia.
En su carrera ha conseguido importantes reconocimientos del mundo de la música como tres premios Grammy, cinco MTV Video Music Awards y dos Brit Awards.
