International Fair of Havana starts this Monday

According to the Organizing Committee of the event, among the attending nations stand out with greater representation Spain, China, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Russia, Panama, Holland and Portugal

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 30 (ACN) The 35 International Fair of Havana, FIHAV 2017, will open its doors today at Expocuba fairgrounds, in the skirts of Havana city, with the presence of exhibitors from more than 60 countries, a sign of the confidence of the global business community in Cuba.
Expocuba, the usual venue for the important event, will host up to three thousand foreign businessmen until Friday; 37 delegations, 19 of them chaired by ministers, and 50 chambers and institutions that promote trade.
According to the Organizing Committee of the event, among the attending nations stand out with greater representation Spain, China, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Russia, Panama, Holland and Portugal.
On this occasion, some 300 companies and national entities will be represented in the Cuban pavilion, which will be able to show their goods and services for the external market, as well as consolidate their links and identify new partners.
As part of FIHAV 2017, the fourth version of the opportunities portfolio of Cuba will be exposed, which includes more than 450 projects from all strategic sectors of the economy.
The program of the fair also includes the realization of the II Investment Forum - October 31 and the 1st. November-, and other activities such as the presentation of professional services and products, informative sessions on topics of interest, conferences, seminars and bilateral forums.
According to Orlando Hernández Guillén, president of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, within that broad work agenda include meetings with the Russian delegation, while China will hold a new session of the Business Committee.
Cuba currently trades with around three thousand companies and more than 150 nations, and the most significant in that exchange are China, Venezuela, Spain, Germany, France and Russia.
