Havana Students Join the Young Communist League

The representative of the Provincial Bureau of the UJC, Ramona More Echavarria said during the ceremony that the new generation is committed with the Revolution, the vanguard organization and future members of the Communist Party.

HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 14 (ACN) Students and workers of the city of Havana were granted on Thursday membership to the Young Communist League, UJC on occasion of the 173rd and 90th anniversaries of the birth of Antonio Maceo and Ernesto Che Guevara, respectively.

The representative of the Provincial Bureau of the UJC, Ramona More Echavarria said during the ceremony that the new generation is committed with the Revolution, the vanguard organization and future members of the Communist Party.

She highlighted that the independence leader known as the Bronze Titan and the Legendary Guerrilla invokes in the Cuban youth the most just, noble and true feelings of a revolutionary for its Homeland.

A group of students from the Multi-national State of Bolivia Primary School also received the red scarfs as members of the Jose Marti Pioneer Movement whose main slogan is "Pioneers for Communism: We will be like Che".
