President of Kenya to arrive in Cuba

Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya, will arrive in Cuba today on an official visit that will help strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

During his stay in Cuba, Kenyatta will hold official conversations with Cuban authorities and pay tribute to Cuba's National Hero José Martí and African heroes.

According to the official program of the visit, the 56-year-old Kenyan President will conclude his stay on the island on Saturday March 17, after meeting a broad agenda.

Kenya is an East African nation, with more than 580,000 square kilometers of land and a population of 48 million inhabitants, which has tourism as its main source of income and coffee and tea as its main products.
