The quarter finals are over. The show had a spectacular closure with lots of turns and suspense. This phase was marked by the classification of an historical selection and the elimination of the local team.

England overcame the barrier that has been blocking them since 1990. The men under the command of Gareth Southgate defeated an inefficient Sweden team(2-0).The English goals were scored by Harry Maguire andDelleAlli. Also, goalkeeper Jordan Pickford had credit due to his performance.

PreciselyEngland´s rival for the pass to the Final will be Croatia. This teamdespite the fact that is full of talenthas also a predilection for extreme finals.

The Croat team had to go to extra time, just like in its game against Denmark, after Denis Cheryshevgave the advantage to the local team. Eight minutes later, Andrej Kramaric scored performinga header from a pass given by Mario Mandzukic, even though this would be the last goal of the 90´minutesregulatory time.

In extra time, the Croat team got ahead thanks to Domagoj Vida, but, in extra time´s second half, Manuel Fernandesmade scoreboard even once again.

In the penalty shootout, the nerves were also players standing on the field. The Russian team was affected by failures ofFedorSmolov andFernandesthat defined the game´s conclusions.
