CIEGO DE AVILA, Cuba, Oct 16 (acn) The members of the Young Communist League (UJC) in Ciego de Avila joins the activities of the 8th Todo por el Arte (Art for All) Activity in honor of the 31st anniversary of the Hermanos Sainz Association and Cuban Culture Day.
Representative of the UJC, Yaquelin Matias Ortega told ACN that they will participate in the coordination and organization of the event that will last until Friday the 20th.
Matias Ortega added that they will have artists from the territories Tuesday night during an encounter with students and professors of the Hermano Saiz Montes de Oca school in the town of Santana in the municipality of Florencia
The UJC will congratulate on Wednesday the nine new members of the youth artistic vanguard that were selected as new members of the youth organization during an activity to be held in the Marti Park said the representative.
Spokesperson of the Hermanos Saiz Association, Eduardo Pino Gonzalez said that the program will include several jam sessions with performances by different musical genders like rock, electronic, trova and rap.
The activity also includes performances of students from the Nola Sahig Sainz Art School at the Jose Inda Hernandez Culture House and the personal exhibition of artist Jeosviel Abstengo in the Joven Creador House.

HAVANA, Cuba, October 13.— The 11th International Meeting on Foreign Trade and Investment which concluded on Friday at the Habana Libre Hotel reflects on the reality of its time and expressed the concerns of the jurists in making negotiating management more efficient, said a Cuban expert.
In an exclusive interview with ACN, Narciso Cobo Roura, Vice President of the Cuban Court of International Trade Arbitration believes that foreign investment has become a priority after its application of the Economic and Social Guidelines approved by the 6th Communist Party Congress.
This, he said, demands the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment to become more efficient and forces them to improve the negotiation mechanisms with foreign investors.
Cobo Roura, also Professor of the University of Havana said that the participants analyzed the main problems in the field and the concerns of those that participate in the process.
This is the moment to examine and debate on any doubts the jurists might have in face of new changes in the regulatory framework of the Foreign Trade and Investment itself.
Regarding to the performance of the Cuban Arbitrary Court, Cobo Roura said that the entity is going through an excellent moment and advance in the solutions of cases.
However, he recognized that it is inevitable for the foreign investor to reject our Courts and that is why it is important to maintain the negotiating capacity and achieve favorable agreements for the conflicting parts.
The 11th International Foreign Trade and Investment, which ended on Friday at the Habana Libre Hotel, had the participation of 250 jurists from the country and several nations.

SANCTI SPIRITUS, Cuba, October 9.— Tony Ernesto and Nelson Cartagena Cuba are part of a Bolivian family that have the names of Cuban heroes because their father has always admired the historic figures of the Caribbean island.
They are members of the Through the Paths of Che International Solidarity Brigade which arrived to the province of Sancti Spiritus last Thursday touring places of historic, cultural and social interests and learn about the island’s reality.
My older brother is named Fidel and my sister Tania in honor of the leader of the Revolution and Tania the Guerrilla, respectively; and Tony’s middle name is Ernesto after Che, said Nelson who together with Tony traveled to Havana and other provinces with the international brigade.
I am the only of four brothers that is not named after a Cuban leader, but my father baptized me in honor of Nelson Mandela and it makes me happy, said the 21 year and student in Business Administration.
Tony Ernesto, 24 year olds, is a graduate of Tourism in 2015 but said that he did not know about the quality of tourism until he arrived to Cuba because there is a profound human content that allows a visitor to appreciate the roots, characteristics and the culture of the Cuban people.
According to his words, both youth were anxious in visiting the land of Marti in order to see things for their own and not listen to distorted information.
We, said Tony Ernesto, are in Cuba for conviction and revolutionary ideology and from now on no one will invent false stories because we have seen the reality.
During their stay in Sancti Spiritus the over 220 members of the international brigade from 13 countries toured the Camilo Cienfuegos Historic Complex in the municipality of Yaguajay, where they learned on the life of the legendary hero.
The brigadistas were also at Manaca Ranzola in the El Pedrero zone, municipality of Fomento where Commander Ernesto Che Guevara established his headquarters at the end of 1958 after the invasion from the Sierra Maestra Mountains to extend the war throughout the country in the last stage of the country’s independence.
The solidarity activists shared experiences with workers, campesinos and students though the grass roots organizations in Sancti Spiritus.

SANTIAGO DE CUBA, Cuba, October 10.— Eusebio Leal, City Historian for the city of Havana called on the population on Tuesday at the Santa Ifigenia Cemetery in Santiago de Cuba for unity and maintain the legacy of the forefathers of the Homeland.
During the political activity and military ceremony in which the remains of Carlos Manuel de Cespedes and Mariana Grajales were buried in a different location with the presence of President Raul Castro, Leal praised the life and work of the great Forefathers of the Homeland.
He also explained how Fidel subordinated all his talent and good to the ideal of continuing with the path of the those that founded the Homeland in a Revolution that began on October 10th, 1868, and lasted until our times.
Remembering the life of Cespedes, he highlighted the independence leader as a politician, educated and loyal. His beloved son Oscar, explained, was captured by the enemy and offering Cespedes to give up his ideals in exchange for the life of his son, responded that Oscar was not his only son, he was the father of all the Cuban people that have died for the Revolution.
Regarding Mariana Grajales, born on July 12th, 1815 in Santiago de Cuba, Leal said that she joined the first struggle for independence days after its initiation swearing that her husband and sons would fight for their Homeland or die in the struggle.
Leal said that today we remember with profound pride, like the mother of the Maceos and woman that broke the barriers of her race and time, genuine of national identity that the Heroine of the Sierra Vilma Espin continued with patriotism and humanism, continuing her example.
Concluding the activity, President Raul Castro together with leaders of the Party and Government placed white roses before the tomb of Mariana Grajales, Mother of the Cuban people, Carlos Manuel de Cespedes Monument, Jose Marti Mausoleum and the stone that treasures the ashes of the historic leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro.
They also paid tribute to the Martyrs of the 26th of July and internationalist combatants.
