Elle King fue el nombre artístico que adoptó la cantante, compositora y actriz estadounidense Elle Tanner Schneider, nacida el 3 de julio de 1989.
Con nueve años integró el elenco en la película Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, junto a su padre, el comediante Rob Schneider (es hija también de la exmodelo London King). Al año siguiente su interés por el country y el bluegrass, la llevó a aprender a tocar un instrumento como el banjo. A los 13 se acercó a la guitarra. Su estilo musical abarca, además, géneros como soul y rock. Estudió pintura y cine en la Universidad de las Artes de Filadelfia.
En 2012, King presentó su EP debut (formato de grabación musical que se conoce como «reproducción extendida», más larga que un sencillo y más corta que un álbum) titulado The Elle King EP. Aquí se encuentra una canción como Playing for Keeps, tema principal de la serie Mob Wives Chicago.
En 2015, Elle dio a conocer su disco de estudio debut, Love Stuff, donde se encuentra el single Ex´s & Oh´s, con el que consiguió dos nominaciones en la 58 entrega de los Premios Grammy. Justo Ex´s & Oh´s es la propuesta del ¡De Impacto! de este martes.
