De ascendencia cubana, Armando Christian Pérez, más conocido como Pitbull, nació en Miami, Estados Unidos, el 15 de enero de 1981. Cantante, rapero y productor musical, inició su carrera con géneros como el hip hop, aunque después se especializó más en estilos como el electrohouse y el dance pop. Estudió en la escuela superior de ingeniería, pero sabía que tenía que hacer algo más para sobresalir, y empezó a escribir canciones.

Hizo su debut oficial en la música en 2003 con el CD Kings of Crunk, de Lil Jon, material que formó parte de la segunda parte de la película The Fast & The Furious. Al año siguiente dio a conocer su ópera prima M.I.A.M.I.

Pitbull se halla entre los artistas más solicitados para realizar colaboraciones con diversos cantantes como Christina Aguilera, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Belinda, Austin Mahone, Ne-Yo, Marc Anthony, Enrique Iglesias, Usher, Fergie, Havana Brown, Chris Brown y Kesha, por solo mencionar algunos.

Entre sus éxitos musicales se encuentran los sencillos Dance Again y On the Floor,  junto a Jennifer Lopez; I Know You Want Me, Hotel Room Service, Give Me Everything; Rain Over Me con Marc Anthony; International Love, con Chris Brown; Back In Time, Get It Started al lado de Shakira; Feel This Moment, con Christina Aguilera, y Timber (Kesha).

En 2010 colaboró con múltiples intérpretes de habla hispana en la campaña solidaria de ayuda humanitaria a Haití, por el terremoto sufrido en el país, cantando la versión al español de We are the World, de Michael Jackson. En 2012 grabó el tema principal de la banda sonora de la película Hombres de Negro III (Back in Time).

En 2014 colaboró en el disco de Enrique Iglesias, Sex + Love, en el sencillo promocional I m a Freak y en Let Me Be Your Lover. Compuso en colaboración con Jennifer López y Claudia Leitte, We Are One (Ole Ola), la canción de la Copa Mundial de Fútbol de Brasil. Pitbull ha continuado actuando con otros artistas, como hizo con John Ryan en Fireball, propuesta de esta semana.
