Calvin Harris, el afamado DJ, productor y compositor de música electrónica escocés, especializado en Electropop, Funk, House y Dance, se llama en verdad Adam Richard Wiles, y nació el 17 de enero de 1984. Sus dos primeros discos se nombraron I Created Disco (2007) y Ready for the Weekend (2009). Su tercer álbum de estudio tiene como título 18 Months (2012) , al cual le siguió Motion (2014).
Ha compuesto y producido para otros artistas como Kylie Minogue, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Dizzee Rascal, Example, Rihanna (suyo es el hit internacional We Found Love), Florence Welch y Cheryl Cole, entre otros. De 2017 es su quinta producción, Funk Wav Bounces, Vol. 1, donde aparecen como invitados: Ariana Grande, D.R.A.M., Frank Ocean, Future, Jessie Reyez, John Legend, Kehlani, Khalid, Lil Yachty, Migos, Nicki Minaj…, por mencionar algunas de las voces participantes. También conforman la nómina Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry y Big Sean, quienes defienden el tema Feels, propuesta de esta edición de ¡De Impacto!
