Después de tres años sin presentar un nuevo tema, tras la salida del álbum Origins (2018), la popular banda estadounidense Imagine Dragons reapareció con dos: Follow You y Cutthroat, los primeros que deben conformar el quinto disco de estudio. Así celebraron, además, el décimo aniversario de su fundación.

Acerca de Follow You, propuesta de esta edición de ¡De Impacto!, Dan Reynolds, voz líder del cuarteto, explicó que el tema había nacido tras un mensaje que le envió su esposa, con la cual no se comunicaba hacía meses, y que evitó el divorcio cuando parecía inevitable. No necesito ser tu dueña para amarte, le dijo. En la escritura de Follow You se le unieron no solo Wayne Sermon (guitarra), Ben McKee (bajo) y Daniel Platzman (batería), sino también los productores Joel Little, Fransisca Hall y Elley Duhé.
